The second is a freebie ornie I think is from Les Grilles de Maryse.
Once I got home it was back to school time and some friends and I went to lunch to celebrate our third year of retirement from teaching.
I have been doing some stitching. I finished Prairie Schooler's Weatherwise. It sure took a lot longer than I expected.
And I finished a piece designed by Jan at OOE for our retreat in 2008.
The mailman was very good to me this week. I received Jan's Rare Treasures design kitted with Needlepoint Silks which I've never used. I'm excited to get started on this. From another ONS I received Jardin Prive's My Lady's Quaker. I just love this design.Stacy (no blog) sent my Halloween exchange piece early It is just the cutest pillow.
Thanks for reading. I love your comments. I need to get back to commenting on the great blogs I read.

Kathy - Hope that the weather was great for you in Petoskey. It's been kind of cool down in the lower section of the state all summer. Your finishes are great - I really love the OOE piece and the PSS pieces. And your Halloween exchange piece is so cute! What a great thing to receive!
So glad you enjoyed your vacation and time with your family. I love your finishes and your exchange piece is awesome!
Kathy, I'm so glad that you had a great time on vacation! Your stitching is beautiful--congrats on the finishes! I love what Stacy did for the exchange, too.
Oh you've done wonderful work. I love that halloween pillow. She done it beautifully. ~ Dawn ~
Wonderful finishes, Kath! Your exchange piece is really neat looking!
Glad you had a fabulous vacation at the cabin! Welcome home!

So glad to see you posting! I love your finishes, they look great. I also love that Halloween pillow...please bring that with you when you come next weekend...need to see it up close and personal! (^-^)
So good to hear you had such a grand time in Petoskey! Good family time is the bestest.
I always take a lot of stitching with me when going on vacation but I never manage to put in a single stitch. But what if I managed to find the time and I wouldn't have my stitching with me? Lol. Anyway, it's good to know that you had a wonderful vacation without stitching but with family and friends.
You show some very nice finishes indeed. And that Halloween pillow is just a dream.
